Position Summary
The Counsel, Policy & Regulatory provides legal, regulatory, and policy expertise in support of CIPF’s investor protection mandate. The position supports policy initiatives, insolvency preparedness efforts, and the monitoring of legal and regulatory developments affecting CIPF. The role also delivers legal research and advice, supports contract review and the management of external legal counsel, and contributes to regulatory compliance and governance activities. Through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, the Counsel helps strengthen CIPF’s readiness, policy framework, and operational effectiveness.
