Director of Gran Tierra Energy Inc., serving as Chair of the Audit Committee and Member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Director of Essential Energy Services Ltd., serving as Chair of the Audit Committee and Member of the Compensation and Governance Committee.  Governor of the University of Calgary, serving as Vice-Chair of the Audit Committee. Previous Director of KPMG and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

A graduate of Bishop’s University (Bachelor of Science, Mathematics and Physics). Became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta in 1996 and earned the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors in 2006.
